We are a team of Desi Dads & Dudes from Punjab, North India who left their corporate(sortof…) jobs to continue doing what we loved during weekends and family get-togethers, i.e. “cooking”. We don’t just experiment with food but also keeping our cooking traditions intact that has been passed on us as generational wealth.
Our History
Just another Indian Restaurant in Katy, serving Cinco ranch and surrounding neighborhoods
TikkaTemple, a Katy TX culinary gem, traces its roots back to the 1980s in Ludhiana, Punjab-India. It was here that local Punjabi man, Harbir Singh – fondly known as Beera, began his journey with beloved home-made recipes for chicken tikka, butter chicken, and other delectable dishes. Beera’s sole motive was simple: No one should starve for a good food that makes your soul happy; and everyone should eat to the content of their heart. Beera’s son, Baljinder, carried the same passion and vision. Coming to Houston, TX in 2018, Baljinder rekindled his father’s dream, birthing TikkaTemple. Here, you can savor Chicken Tikka Masala with special garlic naan, crafted from Beera’s cherished recipe.
