Our Delicious Story

TikkaTemple, a Katy TX culinary gem for North Indian food, traces its roots back to the 1980s in Ludhiana, Punjab-India. It was here that local Punjabi man, Harbir Singh – fondly known as Beera, began his journey with beloved home-made recipes for chicken tikka, butter chicken, and other delectable dishes. Beera’s sole motive was simple: No one should starve for a good food that makes your soul happy; and everyone should eat to the content of their heart. Beera’s son, Baljinder, carried the same passion and vision. Coming to Houston, TX in 2018, Baljinder rekindled his father’s dream, birthing TikkaTemple. Here, you can savor Chicken Tikka Masala with special garlic naan, crafted from Beera’s cherished recipe.
